March in Ft. Lauderdale

Print

What a great time to visit Ft. Lauderdale! It’s cold everywhere else, but the average temperature in March Ft. Lauderdale is 79 during the day and 64 at night. We do have the occasional cold snap in March, but what is cold to Floridians is high 60s. Because we are on a Marina, a few boating activities are being explored, so make sure you pack a light jacket. It can get chilly on the water!

The Bahia Mar Hotel is located right on the Ft. Lauderdale strip. It will be Spring Break, so there will be lots to ogle, and a bunch of sidewalk restaurants with live music and activities, all within walking distance. The hotel also has a Water Taxi stop. Since Ft. Lauderdale is considered the “Venice of America”, a water taxi ride can take you to 12 different spots along the intracoastal, or you can just enjoy a tour with narration and ogle all of the beautiful mansions along the way.

The world famous shopping at Las Olas Blvd. starts only 2 blocks from the hotel, and the hotel also offers glass bottom boat rides, Pirate Cruises, and the famous Jungle Queen boat rides. (We are working on picking a time to do this together on Sunday, March 9th).
